Product Description
It is an acidic paint stripping compound used for removal of paint
from the painted from ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is
recommended for removing paint from painted surfaces.
Kemstrip-339 can be used at elevated temperature and also at room
temperature. After removal of paint, parts should be rinsed with
water.

Product Operating Procedure
Prepare the bath of Kemstrip-339
chemical as given above. Wash the painted components with water to
remove before dipping in Kemstrip-339 bath. Dip the washed components
in Kemstrip-339 bath for 15 to 20 min, if bath is operated at R.T. In
case bath is operated in hot stage then dip the components for few
minutes till paint is removed. Rinse the components in running water
to drag out the residue of Kemstrip-339 chemical. While using the
bath continuously for paint stripping, paint particles settles down
in the form of sludge, which should be removed by cleaning the
Kemstrip-339 bath periodically.
Product Application Equipments
The tank for Kemstrip-339 bath may
be constructed of mild steel with lining when using cold process. In
hot process the equipment should be of stainless steel, stainless
clad steel, lead lined steel or any other acid resistant material
which can withstand the temperature of 60°C, Kemstrip-339 is
acidic in nature. It is recommended that rubber gloves and goggles
should be used by the operator. In case of emergency the antidote for
the same in dilute solution of Ammonium chloride should be or consult
the doctor immediately.

Chemical Replenishment
Discard the bath when the paint removing efficiency slows down and
make the bath fresh with 100% kemstrip-339.
Safety Measures
Kemstrip-339 is based upon
chlorinated base chemicals, mixture of acids and blend of different
organic solvents. It is harmful if swallowed. Direct contact on skin
can causes burns. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapours. Use of safety
gloves, aprons, boots, eye shields, etc. during the stripping and handling
is recommended for safe use.
