Kemphos-338 is dual activator process, which can be used by spray as
well as immersion. Kemphos-338 is a low foaming mild alkaline powder
formulated to activate metal surfaces to improve subsequent coatings.
It has also the removing light oils and grease on the surface.

Product Operating Procedure
Make 0.15 0.2% solution in
water. provide air agitation continuously as the chemical is totally
insoluble in water. Check pH of the solution
Product Application Equipment
Kemphos-338 tank should be
fabricated with 3 to 4 mm thick M.S. Plates with continuous
convection current hating system.
Testing and Control Procedure
Kemphos-338 bath strength can be
easily controlled by determination of pH value of the bath solution
directly.
Chemical Replenishment
Restore the bath to the working level by adding water to makeup
evaporation loss and drag out losses. Chdck the Kemphos-338 solution
pH. Add 100 gm Kemphos-338 powder per 100 ltr. Bath to increase pH by
one unit.
Safety Measures
Kemphos-338 is an alkaline material.
Direct contact causes irritation of skin, wash thoroughly, do not
take it internally.
General Information
With the use of surface
activation chemical, the phosphate quality gets enhanced and its
structure becomes more compact.
