Kemphos 004
(Neutralizer)
Production Description
This is a neutralizer
chemical, which eliminates any residual acidity remaining after the
water rinse. The job is dipped for 30-60 seconds at ambient temperature.
Bath Make UP
0.5 3 kgs. of kemphos
004 is added to 100 ltrs. of wate. Exact strength will depend upon
shape and drainage from the componentand the 'Kemfin' technical staff will be
able to suggest the exact pointage.
Testing Procedure
Titrate 50 ml. Of bath
solution against N/10 H2SO4 using 5 10 drops of Bromocresol green as
indicator. Colour change from blue to light green determine the end
point. An 1% solution of Kemphos-004 will give pointage of 2.33 ml.
Usual operation range is 1.11 4.6. After the best concentration has
been established the range should be ±1 of this. An additional of ½ kg.
Of Kemphos-004 is required to increase the pointage by 1 in 1000 ltrs.
